Gives you access to ShoutCast and LauraFM listings from within Media Center. Lets you browse from thousands of internet radio stations, save your favorites, and find out more information about the currently playing song. Hangs My VMC

Lots of people love this app. I wish it would work for me. Every setup screen hangs VMCⁱ for 1-2 minutes, and clicking on the Shoutcast link only manages to bring up some category folder icons before hanging indefinitely.

Reinstall?

That certainly doesn't sound normal. I have installed mcShoutCast on several computers, and have never run into that issue (both 32bit & 64bit). I would say something went wrong with the install. I would uninstall & reinstall the application and see if that works. Also are you running Vista or 7?

Quick Tip

In the picture library, highlight the folder or tag you want, then press "Play" on the remote to start a slideshow.

With a picture on screen, press "Info" (or "More") on the remote and select "Rotate" to rotate it.

Press "Clear" on the remote to delete the media that is currently highlighted (works for Recorded TV, Videos, Music, and Pictures).

With an album, video, or recorded show highlighted, simply hit "Play" on the remote to start it playing immediately - faster than pressing "OK" and then selecting "Play" on the menu.

In the Guide, press Skip/Replay on the remote to skip forward/back 12 hours at a time.

Use the channel +/- buttons on the remote to browse the guide a page at a time.

Almost any menu strip can be hidden with a simple registry tweak. Click here for details.

In the Guide, press FF/REW on the remote to skip forward/back 3 hours at a time.

Pressing "OK" on the remote while watching Live TV will go to the previous channel.

While in the guide press the Record button on the remote twice to do a series recording.
