Help Support Media Center Guides

Hosting isn't free, and it takes a lot of time to add and test new features and content for the site (and I have a lot more planned), so if you can help that would be great!

No, I'm not asking for donations, but don't let that stop you if you are so inclined. :)

Here is a short list of ways you can help:

Add something. Add a guide page for how to do something, or expand on an already existing page. Rate the applications that you find useful (make sure create an account first to save the rating). Even just making comments on existing content is much appreciated.
Give feedback. There is a feedback link at the bottom of the page if you have suggestions or run into any problems with the site. Giving feedback helps me know what people are finding useful, and what needs to be improved upon.
Buy through our store. If you've found the site helpful, the next time you need to get something for your Media Center or home theater, check out our store first. Quick Tip

While in the guide press the Record button on the remote twice to do a series recording.

Pressing "OK" on the remote while watching Live TV will go to the previous channel.

Press "Clear" on the remote to delete the media that is currently highlighted (works for Recorded TV, Videos, Music, and Pictures).

In the Guide, press FF/REW on the remote to skip forward/back 3 hours at a time.

In the Guide, press Skip/Replay on the remote to skip forward/back 12 hours at a time.

With a picture on screen, press "Info" (or "More") on the remote and select "Rotate" to rotate it.

In the picture library, highlight the folder or tag you want, then press "Play" on the remote to start a slideshow.

Almost any menu strip can be hidden with a simple registry tweak. Click here for details.

Use the channel +/- buttons on the remote to browse the guide a page at a time.

With an album, video, or recorded show highlighted, simply hit "Play" on the remote to start it playing immediately - faster than pressing "OK" and then selecting "Play" on the menu.
